A wedding day that felt as natural as the landscape surrounding it.

Last May, Molly and Eric gathered family and friends at Pole Creek Ranch beneath the Cascade Mountains for a celebration filled with thoughtful details, mountain-inspired design, and plenty of personality. From signature cocktails named after their dogs to a sundae bar inspired by their first dessert as newlyweds, every element reflected who they are.

We're honored to see their wedding featured in and grateful to have been part of such a memorable day.

Read the full feature and take a look back at a day filled with mountain views, meaningful details, and one unforgettable celebration.

The unexpected moments... As you're leaving the ranch after feeding animals, and you admire the lenticular clouds, the local deer are on an evening stroll enjoying the sunset. It is indeed a special place.

We always appreciate seeing where ranch-raised beef finds its way.

This recent review of
talked quite a bit about the atmosphere, the whiskey selection, and yes… the best meatloaf. The beef behind it came from us here at Pole Creek Ranch.

There’s something rewarding about seeing cattle raised out on these pastures become part of a meal people genuinely remember. Especially in a town like Sisters, where ranching, community, and good food have always gone hand in hand.

Appreciate the thoughtful review, and the team at Three Finger Jack for putting local ingredients on the plate.

Negatraz Pinot Noir, ready for the table.

Named after one of the ranch’s most legendary Arabian stallions, our estate Pinot Noir was made for evenings like this; beautifully set tables, unforgettable dinners, and celebrations that carry on long after sunset.

The 2023 Yamhill-Carlton Pinot Noir opens with aromas of sweet leather, cassis, violets, and red cherry, followed by layered black fruit, peppery spice, and a smooth blueberry finish.

Make your evening unforgettable and ask about featuring Pole Creek Ranch wines at your wedding dinner.

Cheers!

It's Phlox season! It is officially spring when certain patches on the ranch turn purple. Phlox is not only a pretty sight, it is an excellent, top-tier pollinator plant and a magnet for butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. The nectar-rich, fragrant, funnel-shaped flowers are especially popular with butterflies like Eastern Tiger Swallowtails, skippers, and monarchs.

We know you love some ranch trivia!

Informational ASMR: learn something while listening to the wind and watching our cows graze.

Our Red Angus move with intention, grazing selectively and giving the land time to recover between passes. That rest period is where the magic happens: stronger roots, healthier soil, and more resilient pasture.

It’s a slower approach, but one that keeps everything in balance; from the ground up.

This is what regenerative agriculture looks like in real time. And sometimes, it looks right back at ya.

Fresh horsepower just rolled in.

We’ve got a new group of horses calling the ranch home for the summer; brought up by a local cowboy and cowgirl who ranch throughout Northern California and up to Deer Island along the Columbia.

They just came out of the Arizona desert… which explains why they’re so dang happy to be running, kicking, and soaking up these green Oregon pastures.

It’s a full range: from a seasoned pro rodeo horse to a few 3-year-olds, and even some 2-year-olds just getting their start. A couple are only halter broke for now… but give it a summer, and they’ll be well on their way to becoming solid, ranch-ready horses.

There’s something special about watching the process, young horses learning the ropes, gaining confidence, and finding their place out here.
