It’s Time to kick off Spring with our annual Sitka Shakedown on Saturday May 2nd which features pop up artists, great food, the best live music around, and fresh suds. This year’s event will not be ticketed aka free for all to come and celebrate getting out of this long winter.

Our Summit Kitchen will have a special menu, music will feature local bands Orbe and the Sun Gazers, .boys , and DJ ego to finish it out.

Spring is in the air!! We rang it in with a full weekend of activities starting with the sultry tunes of R.O. Shapiro and Maia Carter who filled our hearts and soothed our souls after a long and snowy winter.

The very next day saw a horde of lords, ladies, wizards, and goblins turn out in full force to celebrate our second annual Old Time Suds - Sitka's Annual Ren Faire by chugging mead, gnawing on turkey legs, and engaging in unparalleled feats of arms and swordsmanship.

We love to feature the special things that Sitkans get up to so would like to give a huge shout out to .withcassandra for organizing all our incredible vendors including: Allie Spurlock, TrazHill , Trevor , Andrew Callen , MyZenCreation, Sitka AK , Uprooted Jewelry, and Sarina Bowens. Also thanks to juggling master Daniel Patience, landstruck mermaid Aurora Randolph ,Narwhal the Owl from Alaska Raptor Center, and Jig Jam’s jaunty Irish tunes.

Finally a big thanks to all of our wonderful patrons. Winter can be dark and full of angst so we love seeing faces full of hope for a new spring. Let’s hope it leads into a summer of overwhelming sunshine, laughter, and delicious beverages at the brewery.
