In 1966 Roy Peters, My Grandfather, bought land and began farming cranberries. Over the years, more acres were planted as well as a cranberry cleaning facility was built. We’re currently farming 50 acres of cranberries and handle fruit for dozens of growers during harvest. The Fruit is packed and sold for sauce, sweetened & dried cranberries, and juice bottled under the R.W. Knudsen Family label.
Now Fifty years later, we’re moving into the next stage of our company. By planting a bunch of apple trees, starting a garden, and joining the local food trail. We have begun making juices, jams, jellies, sauces... right here on the farm. Using fruits and vegetables we grow and source locally on the wind swept prairie of the southern Oregon coast.
We encourage you stop by our farm to visit our little stand and try these delicious products, showcasing the uniqueness of the area we live in. You can even take a stroll around the cranberry fields if you like. Seeing them bloom in May-June, fruit ripping all summer, and harvest in the fall, October threw November.
