HERITAGE BREED PORK SHARES

Berkshire pork pasture raised and forest finished in Skamokawa, Washington. World renowned for its exceptional meat quality, high level of marbling and rich, sweet flavor, Berkshire pork is highly sought after by chefs and food enthusiast for its superior taste and tenderness.

We have full and half shares available. No soy. No GMO. No hormones. Just lots of fresh clover, acorns and locally grown barley.

Full share - $1,600.00
(Over 200lbs of pork)

Half share - $850.00
(Over 100lbs of pork)

The hanging weight of the whole hog was 262.7 pounds

I have another half that came from my 226.3 pound hog available.

All pork has been processed, cut, and wrapped, then flash frozen by McPhee‘s Butcher Block in Woodland Washington.

One week old baby piggies. The 10 of them are looking great and the other eight are getting big fast.

We had a total of 13 piglets born. One was stillborn and two didn’t make it in the first couple of days. But we have 10 happy little Berkshire piglets that are running around happy as can be. This brings the total to 18 piglets for the month. 

Three of the feeder pigs that we bought in March will be ready to go to the butcher in November. The other six females will be our breeders for next year. I love pig math. We should be able to produce on average 60 pigs every six months For customers between Vancouver, Washington and Astoria, Oregon. Let us know if you’d like to be on our list for delivery.

We will have USDA pork available at the end of November just in time for Thanksgiving in case you don’t like turkey.
