There is a sweet story behind this picture. If you will zoom in and look closely you will see a guinea keet (few weeks old) under our sweet Missy. When John went this evening to feed the goats and turkeys it was in their pen. One of the turkeys was about to start pecking it when Missy came along and ran the turkey away and stood over the little guinea long enough for John and Gus to catch it and place it back in the brooder with it's siblings. It was exhausted from being out in the cold the last few days after escaping when John went to feed them. Sorry for the long post but, I love how her motherly instincts kicked in for a completely different species 🖤🤍❤️
