Ranunculus season has begun!

After a very cold winter and a very warm spring, I have been holding my breath waiting to see how these plants would do. We lost a lot of corms over the winter, so I’m happy to see the survivors blooming! Lots of flowers to come out of here over the next few weeks!

Ranunculus CSA starts this week and so does wholesale! Most wholesale sales will run through but don’t hesitate to reach out with special requests!

It may be snowing out, but our tulips don’t care. We planted 2,500 tulips in our greenhouse almost on a whim, but I’m so glad. The first half is blooming now and the rest should follow soon after.

As we crawl out of winter, things on the farm start to take shape. We are looking forward to the coming growing season and a fresh start.

Join any of our CSA programs to be eligible for the raffle. Our spring CSA starts late April and will be loaded with greens and other quick fresh veggies.

10 winners will be drawn on March 1. Prizes include farmers market vouchers, vouchers for free market bouquet and a grand prize of CSA essentials gift basket.

Last week of winter CSA ☀️ Leaning hard on the root veggies this week as our greenhouse crops are finished now from the cold weather.

Huge shout out to all our CSA members! Yinz came out each week in the cold, the snow and the dark to get your local veggies! ❄️ Thank you for your support! Spring crops will be here soon.

While other parts of the world are seeing record breaking heat, droughts, and wildfires, we saw some real winter weather. Lots of snow and a long stretch of very cold weather. Crops were lost in the greenhouses, and we are already prepping in them for the spring. 🥬

Lastly, a big thank you to the farms that supplemented our CSA bags! We can’t grow everything, and it’s great to know there are like-minded farmers nearby. If you’d like to collaborate in 2026, let us know. 😀

Spring is coming! There might be all this snow currently, but the seasons will change. I plant the dahlias in good faith that they will bloom when I need a reminder that there is still beauty in this world. And(!!) because they make such great cut flowers, I get to share that beauty with my community.
