It has been a minute!
The Cluckin’ Coop got a bit of a face lift this weekend!
When we first purchased chickens, I had my eye on nesting boxes that were at my great uncle Charlie’s farm. I found them while adventuring through old barns 😍. At the time, our flock was not quite big enough for the number of boxes.

Fast forward to now, our flock had outgrown what we had for nesting boxes and the time had finally come that I could take on another project 🙃.

We brought these beauties home back in June and while the project was a long time comin’, it was well worth it! I finally finished the project this weekend & got them placed in their new home 🫶🏽

While refinishing, I had one goal • maintain their original appearance. I might be biased, but I think I knocked it clear outa the park 😍

🌾🐮✨ Big News from Holzman Acres! ✨🐤🌾

We’re so excited to share that {IvieJo’s Feedbunk} will be making its debut this weekend! 🎉

This new little addition has stemmed from the enjoyment that baking & sharing (the goods) with my family brings me. I’ve been told countless times that I need to start selling a few of my family favs. So with that, IvieJo’s Feedbunk will be the place where I can continue finding joy in baking & sharing with others. 🫶🏽

Tractor parked 🚜 • Apple picked 🍎

Kyle had been cutting the grass, however when I noticed I could no longer hear the tractor, I decided I’d check in…
Nothing like a fresh apple snack, right from the tree! 🌳

We were blessed with {four} well established apple trees when we moved here 🫶🏽 but thought ‘what is a few more’?! So we planted {two} more 🍎, {two} 🍐, and {two} 🍑!! We are finally (slowly) but surely beginning to see some fruit on those, too!! 💕

Farm life slows you down in the best ways • grass cutting can wait - a fresh apple cannot. 😆
