During this month each year, we again miss seeing our many friends at Byler's farm although we know it was time to move on. The folks who have bought the farm are lovely people who are taking very good care of the land. They have wonderful baked goods and more- especially on Friday and Saturday each week. They are closed on Sunday.

Byler's farm has been sold and the Bylers have moved to Goshen, IN. Thank you to all who have visited the farm for so many years.

On April 1, 2016, Byler's Farm property was sold to a very nice family who plans to continue farming the land. As of now, they do not plan to be open to the public. Thank you for your continued support!

Surprise! We have a new fresh batch of cider just in time for your Christmas and New Year's celebrations. It also freezes very well but be sure to take out 1 1/2 cups first to allow for expansion.

Sorry no cider right now, but cheer up!!
Plans are in place to make more on Monday, Nov. 24 by noon. - self serve and place money in pink box provided.

Thanks to everyone who visited the farm this year. It's always wonderful to catch up with friends once again.

Come out to the farm! We are opened today!

For your information, here's the information you've been waiting for....
The first cider of the season just came in!!

We're taking calls for weekday reservations in October. Remember that weekends and Columbus day, no reservations are needed. Open 12-5 on those days.

Please come to our third sweet corn party Sat. Aug. 23, 2014. Bring your friends and neighbors. The purpose is to have an activity that celebrates harvest while preserving some of the abundance for winter. We provide the corn and the boiling water to blanche the corn. We suggest you bring lawn chairs, a sharp knife and roasting pan (or 9 x 13 cake pan) and zip lock freezer bags.

You will have the opportunity to join a circle around the pile of freshly pulled corn ears, husk them, someone will boil them for several minutes, cool the corn, then each of you will cut your own corn off the ears around tables set up under a canopy and take home some of it in your freezer bags.

There is no charge for the corn. We want an excuse for neighbors and friends to get together.

If you can spare only a few minutes, stop by and say hello and take some with you. We will have people available to assist anyone who has never prepared corn for freezing.

We plan to start by 7 am and continue until 11 am. You may come and go as you wish at any time between those hours.

The apple trees are beginning to show their pink blossoms and soon the pumpkins will be planted.

We have just pressed some fresh cider on January 14, 2014. Also have a good supply of macintosh, mutsu, and ida red apples at better prices than you'll find at the supermarkets. There is also a good supply of brown eggs from our free range hens. All is on a self serve basis 24/7.

Oh yes, one more thing!! The first fresh apple cider of the season is here. It's self serve, leave your money in the change box in the sales room. (No, we will not ship it all over the USA or the world!! Sorry)

We're gearing up for another October Pumpkin Fest. So far the apples and pumpkins look great. Many schools and preschools are already scheduled for field trips. We're looking forward to seeing many of you real soon. Open October 1 - 31. Only open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays and Columbus Day, Oct. 14, 12 - 5. Weekdays by appointment only.

Our third annual sweet corn party is scheduled for Saturday morning, August 17, from 7-11. Bring your own knife, pan for cutting the corn into, and plastic freezer bags to take some home with you.

All the pumpkins are now planted in order to get ready for another October Pumpkin Festival. Plan to visit us again this October!!

Springtime is here and it's lovely to see the baby goats frolicking with their mothers in the meadow. The peach trees are in full bloom and the apple trees are nearly there. What a wonderful time of the year.
