A dedicated worker worked very hard in the heat today setting up the electric fence 😉 (She didn’t ask to quit until the second field). We do this to try and prevent any raccoons from getting in the sweet corn. They can ruin a lot overnight!
Otherwise it’s growing and looking great! 🤤

Well it’s that time of the year for some updates!! Our first planting of sweet corn enjoyed the sun this weekend. However, these cooler temps slow things down. We are excited and can’t wait for another season. Updates will continue to come 🌽

Nothing to do today? Go to Sleepy Eye Summerfest and stop at the knights of Columbus food stand. They will be serving our sweet corn donated by us. Lots of fun activies all day for everyone!
