August is a pretty sneaky important month.

As a bison producer, it’s the core of breeding season. All cows bred in August will calve next May, when the spring grass is at its best. 🦬
The Bulls are rumbling yet, smelling, hovering/ marking and chasing cows to breed.

For crop farmers, August is a make or break for corn yields (rain or pack of rain permitting), and the most important time for soybean yields.. 🌽 🌱

Major fair season, for those fair foodies Fischer’s Sleepy Bison Grill…

And, For the parents out there, it’s also the time the kids may be going back to school 🏫
