You know what this means? It’s almost garlic scape season! I don’t know that they will make it in time for the first Slinger Farmers Market this Sunday but they will make an appearance next week for sure. CSA starts this week! See you Sunday or Thursday for those! And thankfully we got a little bit of rain to help the irrigation which just wasn’t cutting it!

It’s World Bee Day! I do love all bees though I have to admit when I first was gifted honeybees as a Christmas gift, I wasn’t super excited. At that point, I had never been stung by any flying insect. Fast forward a decade and the ladies I choose to house have stung me many times and it’s not as bad as I imagined (and since I steal their hard work/demand rent, they are justified in their anger).
