Cocktail of the Week: Blood Orange Bourbon Smash

Looking for something a little different? This Blood Orange Bourbon Smash delivers the perfect balance of citrus, sweetness, and smooth bourbon flavor. It's a great cocktail for spring evenings and weekend gatherings.

Ingredients:
• 2 oz bourbon
• 2 oz fresh blood orange juice
• ½ oz maple syrup
• 2 dashes orange bitters
• Ice
• Blood orange slice and fresh rosemary for garnish

Instructions:

Fill a shaker with ice.
Add bourbon, blood orange juice, maple syrup, and bitters.
Shake vigorously until chilled.
Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
Garnish with a blood orange wheel and a sprig of rosemary.

The rich bourbon pairs beautifully with the bright citrus notes, creating a cocktail that's both refreshing and sophisticated.
