Kinda chic to not eat food that has been sprayed with poison😉 🐛 But seriously, if they don't wanna eat what I'm growing I shouldn't either!

Glad I'm not the only one who finds these delicious. 🤗

Our green bean plants are hanging on for dear life between this weather and being a snack to the local insects but they're still throwing me handfuls of beans!

😺Four fuzzy kittens!

All but the orange kitten has their eyes wide open and are getting to see the world for the first time. 🥹
Peep the little tussle between the calico and the orange ones at the beginning of the video. Already fighting😆

🫪The two tortoise shells didn't know what to think when they first saw me with their little eyes. The shocked look of "what the heck is that" was clear all over their tiny little faces and it was hilarious.

🐈Mama Lily is absolutely loving all the snuggles and attention she's getting from her babies and is doing such an amazing job at taking care of them.

🥹 One of our new hens laid their first egg yesterday!

🐥 A few months back we added two road island red pullets (young, not yet laying hens) to our flock and we decided to name them after the Judd sisters.
It's hard to tell them apart so we aren't exactly sure which sister laid her first egg but one of them did!!

🥚 We're so egg-cited for more fun colors in our chicken eggs! As Ms. Judd lays more often her eggs will get larger and might change in color slightly but will still hold that rich brown tone similar to the color\size of brown eggs you've likely seen\bought at your local supermarket.

🐈Our Little Lily birthed four adorable kittens on Friday afternoon!
(Starting to think the male cat that went after our other cat, Eclipse, had a paw in this...)

We couldn't be more proud of her for handling her first time as a mama like a champ. 💪🏻

✨ Some glimpses of our morning. ✨

🌛We are loving the cooler nights\early mornings!! Anyone else?!

📣Our egg sale is continued this week and we will have extra mixed packs available in the egg wagon cooler!

🥚 Mix pack includes a total of six eggs - four duck eggs and two chicken eggs laid by our pasture raised (spoiled) hens.

💵All for the low price of two paper Georges! While supplies last of course.

✨Half dozens of both duck and chicken are also stocked in the egg wagon and we will update when they've run out. ☺️
