Today, we want to take a moment to recognize and THANK all the hardworking farmers who keep food on our tables and help feed our families, communities, and our nation. ❤️🇺🇸

Farming is more than a job. It’s a way of life. It’s long days, early mornings, late nights, unpredictable weather, sacrifices, faith, and a whole lot of hard work. It’s planting seeds with hope, working the land with dedication, and trusting God through every season. 🌱☀️🌧️

Behind every bushel, every harvest, and every meal is a farmer who has put their heart and soul into what they do. Farming isn't always easy, and so much of that hard work goes unseen, but today we want you to know that YOU ARE APPRECIATED! 🙌💚

From our family farm to yours, thank you to every farmer, farm family, and agricultural worker who works tirelessly to keep agriculture thriving. We are proud to be a part of this farming community, and we are grateful for everyone who supports local agriculture and small family farms like ours.

We will reopen tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM, ready to see all your smiling faces!

⚠️🌧️ PERT FARMS WEATHER UPDATE 🌧️⚠️

Good evening, everyone! ❤️ We know it’s late, but we wanted to go ahead and let everyone know that Pert Farms will be CLOSED tomorrow through Sunday due to the inclement weather expected in our area.

🙏 We pray that everyone stays safe during this time. Please stay weather-aware, use extreme caution, and take the necessary precautions to keep yourselves and your families safe.

We truly appreciate each and every one of you and are so thankful for your continued support of our small family farm and business. ❤️🌾

We’re going to be OPEN TODAY until 6 PM! 🕕 And with some weather headed our way, we figured it’s a good day to stock up before the storm rolls in! 🌧️💨

🥜 Fresh pot of peanuts is boiling!
🥜 Cold boiled peanuts are ready in the fridge
🥜 Green peanuts ready to go
🥜 A couple of bags of dried peanuts

And we’ve got plenty of fresh produce waiting on you! 🍅🍊🥒

🌽🍅 GOOD MORNING, Y’ALL! 🍅🌽

Pert Farms will be set up at the Enterprise Farmers Market today! 🧺

I’m running just a little behind this morning, so we should be rolling in around 7:15–7:30 AM, and we’ll be there until 11 AM!

We’ll have some fresh goodies with us, including:

🍅 Tomatoes
🎃 Butternut squash and Spaghetti Squash
🥒 Squash & zucchini
🌽 Bicolor sweet corn
🥔 New red potatoes

Come on out, say hey, and grab you some fresh produce for the weekend! ❤️

Blueberry Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls 🫐

Ingredients

* 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
* 8 oz cream cheese, softened
* ⅓ cup granulated sugar
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
* 1 cup fresh blueberries
* 2 tbsp melted butter
* ¾ cup powdered sugar
* 1–2 tbsp milk

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
2. Unroll the crescent dough and press the seams together to create one large rectangle.
3. Beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
5. Sprinkle the blueberries evenly over the cream cheese.
6. Starting at one long edge, tightly roll the dough into a log.
7. Slice into 10–12 rolls and arrange cut-side up in the baking dish.
8. Brush the tops lightly with melted butter.
9. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
10. Mix powdered sugar with enough milk to create a smooth glaze.
11. Let the rolls cool for about 5–10 minutes, then drizzle the glaze generously over the top and serve warm.
