Keeping the PSA's rolling for the day, let's move on to pigs.

We have FOUR new intakes, the first 2 kune kune sisters are a year and a half old and both have very bad skin infections.

Contrary to popular belief pigs are very clean and intelligent animals, they don't actually like living in their own s**t. They will typically have a bathroom area in their space and keep their living and sleeping areas quite clean. When they aren't able to do that, for whatever reason. Dead skin, f***s, food, dirt etc get built up and turn into hard scale like pieces. Without air being able to get to their skin it now will get irritated, infected and sore from bacteria growth.

We've been giving these girls daily baths and combing to get the build up off and their skin is starting to heal nicely!

The second two pigs you may recognize from a couple of weeks ago. They had been abandoned in industry on a dirt road, no one stepped up to claim them even though their owners identity is known. So they were on a "stray hold" in a safe place and today we picked them up to begin their journey. One is a fixed male and the other is his lady. We don't really know much about them but I'm working on getting to know them.

If anyone has extra produce from the gardens or that you didn't get to quite in time we would LOVE the donations. Nothing moldy and nothing with onion but fruits and veggies are needed daily for a healthy diet ❤️❤️

Our newest visitor ❤️🐈‍⬛

A few days ago we saw a post and got in touch with someone who had found a litter of kittens huddled under a guard rail. Some as***le decided it was a brilliant idea to dump a litter of kittens on the side of route 2.

There were at least 4 of them, one already was hit a killed by a vechile. Two are still missing, and we were able to catch this little one. We've been out every couple of hours the past few days and have a couple of traps set thanks to some lovely land owners.

They're CLEARLY not feral kittens and were around people until they were weaned from mom. This little girl was STARVING and didn't even have the energy to run away. She was covered in deer ticks, anemic and scared to death. She is the absolute sweetest and was so happy to be in a safe place she started purring and making biscuits once she realized that nightmare was over.

Cats are not wild animals and kittens can't survive in the woods. There are SO many predators that would love a defenseless dinner, not to mention one of the busiest roads in our state. Do better people - call the shelter - message us - call a vet for a list of places in your area but stop leaving animals on the side of the road or random places.

It's infuriating that this all needs to be said but common sense isn't so common anymore unfortunately 🤷🏻‍♀️😫

The weather lately says it all, summer is here with its hot and humid nastiness. If you see me in the hotter months, most likely I'll be shade hopping or wishing I was inside somewhere.

I have health issues that cause me to be extremely heat intolerant and most of the summer I am fairly sick. However - I plan my days and all of the things that need to be done around the weather the best I can!

I may be a little harder to get ahold of sometimes but I promise I'll get back to everyone as soon as I can ❤️

I will be taking on a few new clients for hoof trimming, and now doing dog,cat or rabbit nail trims also. Best part? We come to you with any and all equipment needed!

I am working super hard on getting set up for birthday parties and farm days so families who don't have animals at home can come and visit with them, ask questions and most of all HAVE FUN! 🤩

If you're hoping to schedule trims or something special for your littles please send me a message and remember, I'll get back to you as soon as I'm able!

Another HARD cut to the yearling pen.
I have two daughters from our girl Gabhran Creek Vedette x Denbow Acres King's Ransom.

Ransom is the son of Denbow Acres Princess Diana. This same breeding produced the famous spot light kid Denbow Acres Samara just a year later.

These girls have an exceptionally high udder arch and beautiful teats as dry yearlings. I've been letting them grow into themselves and planned to breed them this fall to make my choice easier, but I really need to make cuts and don't need two daughters from the same breeding 🫣🫣

They were both bottle kids and very easy to handle, could use work on the collar.

If seriously interested please reach out via messenger

This little doeling has become available again due to no fault of her own. She is absolutely gorgeous and will be looking for a barn of her own.

Her pedigree is packed with SG and elite milkers, lots of potential here!

I have 2 dry ND yearlings left that I need to move to keep numbers down. One is not currently registered but could be, the other is registered papers in hand both have excellent milk genetics behind them and should make anyone an excellent addition to their herd.

Unfortunately my phone is slowly s**tting the bed, I've been putting off getting a new one forever. However the camera 📸 and flashlight 🔦 are now just a distant memory. I do have some pictures of them, their relatives, and happy to set up meet and greets with those seriously interested.

Looking to find them a new barn this week or weekend 🤞🏼 please reach out with any questions.

Alright duck lovers, the time has come!

Every year our ducks start their parenthood journey off hard and this year is no different. Right now there are at least 5 hens on nests that I have found.

Now even though they are fantastic at laying eggs, making their nests and hatching their eggs. They are absolutely horrible dead beat parents and can't be trusted.

So thissss means every summer and every fall until I can convince them to stop hatching children, I have to steal and raise them all.

Do I need or want a million ducks? DUCK NO. So we will have lots of little quackers soon who need new ponds to paddle.

Before you message me asking if I have this breed or that breed let me stop you there - these are muts that take the breeding upon themselves. But I can tell you

- we have the following breeds
- Cayuga, crested magpie, Rouen, Swedish (multiple colors).
-They are FANTASTIC high production layers
- Our birds are 100% free range 365 days a year and are hardy & healthy.

Please reach out if you are looking to add to your flock this summer ☀️🪿🦆
