My farm page be an unusual place for the following, but I think you might be the group who can help me. The pastor of our church died last year and we are searching for a new pastor. The Masontown Brethren church has a congregation of about 60. We are active in the community and preach Jesus from the pulpit.

I don’t know if we lost a niece or gained a farmer. Congratulations Trudy and Patten. Beautiful sunny day for a wedding. I really enjoyed the milk and cookies they gave out at the dollar dance.

An update on our little twin calves: Unfortunately, and without warning, one of the calves died yesterday.

While this is never the outcome we hope for, it’s also a reminder that animals — like people — can face unexpected health challenges, even when they receive attentive care and monitoring.

We’re continuing to keep a close eye on the other calf and the mother, and both are healthy and doing well. We appreciate the kind comments, concern, and support from everyone who has followed along with these calves.

West Virginia University sold its dairy herd several years ago,but they still have a dairy heifer management class. We sent 15 heifers down for them to use for the class.
