Meet Alice 💙

Alice is our sweet splash Silkie and one of the favorites around the farm. As the proud mother of one chick, she spends most of her days hanging out with her sister and keeping an eye on everything going on around her.

Being a Silkie means her eggs are on the smaller side, but she makes up for it by laying almost every day! With her fluffy feathers, gentle personality, and friendly nature, it’s easy to see why everyone loves Alice.

The problem with your 15-year-old daughter having her learner’s permit? She gets to decide if we make a quick stop at Tractor Supply to “just check” for baby Runner ducks. 🦆

Well… we didn’t come home with ducks.

Instead, we left with 7 Midnight Majesty Marans!

Since we didn’t tell the rest of the family about our little detour, we decided to surprise them when we got home.

Now comes the hard part—they all need names. We love a good theme, so drop your best ideas in the comments! ⬇️.

Due to weather, our corn has not thrived this year. We decided to purchase some from a local farm to sell at the stand. Unfortunately, this corn is NOT up to our standards. Therefore, we will not have corn at the stand for the time being. We really appreciate our loyal customers that stick with us during these growing pains. We will continue to try to offer you the best NC goods.
