Sad update.

We have had so many wonderful deliveries here on the farm, as well as some difficult (but ultimately successful) ones. Today, we unfortunately had our first stillborn calf.
We have been anticipating Harmony’s baby for a while now. She is always such a great momma and makes it so easy for us to just sit back and enjoy. Today, we sadly found her being a great momma to a calf that was already passed away.

Farm life has some tremendous ups and some sad lows. Today is a low, but even in our sadness we have so much to be grateful for. We are so grateful that Harmony appears healthy and is eating well. We have reunited her with Houston and her year old bull calf, Willie, so she is not alone.
Her beautiful baby girl, Casper, will be laid to rest after the storm passes.

Yum!

We processed chickens this past weekend and are all stocked up with your favorite chicken cuts except ground chicken. We will wait till the next round for that. The online store is updated.

Beef, Pork and Lamb will all be restocked soon as we brought a few animals in last week. We still have plenty of ground beef, sausages, stew meats and more!

We will be at Clayton Farm and Community Market this Saturday. Please pre-order so we have what you need ready for you!
