No antibiotics, hormones, or steroids—just good, honest beef. The Waford Family. What's in a name? For us, it’s a tribute to the generations that farmed before us. Troubadour Farms carries the names of our grandfathers, Truman and Theodore, and celebrates the timeless tradition of music and storytelling. If you ever visit, you’ll meet our herd—each one named after a favorite song. We’re Brett and

Cricket Waford (Stephanie, if you’re feeling formal), the fourth generation to steward this land. The cute little girl in the middle, is our daughter, Grace. Located in Henry County, Kentucky, we manage 200 acres, raising SimAngus cattle, producing hay, and tending to a small apiary. Our USDA-inspected beef is raised with care and processed right here in Henry County at Trackside Butcher Shoppe. Our cattle spend two years on pasture, and the beef is dry-aged for two weeks for the best flavor and tenderness. Our bees travel up to 5 miles to forage, often gathering nectar from the white clover on our farm and nearby locust and tulip poplar trees. We keep our honey as pure as possible, filtering it just once. Every summer, we harvest and sell it by the pound, with cut comb available on request. At Troubadour Farms, we believe in hard work, great food, and honoring the land and legacy we’ve been given.
