We had a fantastic time at the Uintah County Fair in Vernal, Utah this weekend!

We took a smaller string than we typically do and enjoyed a laid back weekend not stressing about 30 does 😂 even with our smaller string we had an incredible show and it was a great one to kick start our state fair shows over the next month! We showed under judges Justin Basset and Dan Laney.

Say hello to our first homebred doe to make the Elite List, MDNT CM Alakazam!

A goal we had for this year was making the list with 1 homebred doe and we are so thrilled to announce that Alakazam made the Elite list at 95%! While we’ve had other does make it over the years, this one is extra special being in our herd name 🩷

Typhoon had been sold but has recently come available again, we’d love to find her a home! She is a cute yearling who is immature in all the right ways. We admire her strength of mammary system, depth of body and femininity. We had originally intended to keep typhoon to grow out but with the realization that we will have 9 2 year olds next year, we need to cut at least one 😂

We are happy to work with transporters, pick up on the farm or transport to any shows we attend. We will be attending the Vernal, UT show next week as well as the Eastern Idaho fair in Blackfoot, ID in a few weeks and will gladly transport to either! We also have a video of her walking for interested buyers. Serious inquiries only, we’ve dealt with too many tire kickers this year to entertain for long 😅

It’s that time again! Our 2027 breeding plans are officially posted and available for viewing. We are excited to continue accepting reservations for this upcoming season and have some fun breedings lined up!

You’ll notice on our plans that many kids are already reserved or marked retained. Due to how close nationals is next year we plan to retain heavy and cut before we make our trip out to Oregon. Additionally we have roll over reservations and some early taken reservations that have filled spots already! Never fear though, we are breeding more does this year than ever before and still have lots of wonderful reservations open on some powerful breedings.

Well, we’ve somehow managed to keep 5 sable bucks this year and are only breeding 3 sable does😂

Looking over the potential bachelors, we’ve come to the difficult decision that it’s time for Grande Ronde Polar Confection to find a new herd to make fancy kids! This buck has a stellar performance and production packed pedigree and is far too nice to sit unused in the pasture this year.

Son of 2x ADGA National champion and best udder Grande Ronde AC Chocolate Chip and an exciting Saanen bred sable sire Old-English Polar Night, he’s been everything we’ve hoped for and more! We’ve retained heavily from him and have 4 daughters and a son and are so excited for their future.

Every side of this pedigree packs a punch, from full brother Polar Chocolatier’s daughters placing high at this years national show, a maternal cousin Junior national champion placing, daughters going best in show, you name it!

Confection is for sale, not on sale. A buck of this caliber doesn’t come by often so don’t sleep on this one! Included in his price are 10 straws from him as an insurance policy.
