ZERO drone experience required - we provide full training on DJI & XAG spray drones

About Us:

Country Road Drone Services, LLC specializes in precision drone spraying and cover crop application for farmers across Iowa. As a dealer for DJI and XAG spray drones, we use cutting-edge technology to improve efficiency and sustainability in modern agriculture.

We’re looking for a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a drone pilot for the upcoming season. No prior drone experience is required—we will provide training. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating advanced equipment, and supporting farmers, this could be a great fit for you!

Job Responsibilities:
• Operate agricultural spray drones to apply herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and cover crops.
• Perform pre-flight inspections and basic maintenance on drones.
• Work closely with farmers to ensure accurate application rates and field coverage.
• Monitor weather conditions, flight paths, and terrain for safe operations.
• Keep accurate records of applications, flight logs, and chemical usage.
• Assist with loading, mixing, and transporting materials as needed.

Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to obtain an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, 11F, and a Class 3 Medical Certificate (we can guide you through the process).
• Knowledge of agriculture, pesticides, and crop application is a plus.
• Ability to work long hours outdoors, including early mornings and weekends during peak season.
• Night work is a possibility, depending on scheduling and weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
• Comfortable with technology and troubleshooting minor drone issues.
