Absolutely outrageous.
It’s one thing to make a heavy investment in your breeders (I have paid quite a bit for some of my holland lops)
It’s another to sell kits out of the nest box, for an absurd amount of money, when their parents were a fraction of the costs with no backing to their pedigrees (the original breeder commented the cost of the original breeding rabbit, and we adore her) and there’s no guarantee what those kits will look like when they age out, or if they will even make it through weaning.

I think we need a “good hutch, bad hutch” page.
Good breeders get over looked, harassed, told they are monsters or out for money, because of others like this trying to make a buck in a business that should be about the love of the livestock.

Please do your own research when purchasing rabbits or stock.
I do not know everything, but I will always be willing to help.

It feels like yesterday that we moved them out of the house, and now they are ready for their 3rd move, to the back pasture, where they have more space to run like their crazy selves are.

Too think, the could sit in my hand when we got them. 😭 my wild babies.

Oh, if you didn’t know, we do have quite the extensive collection of farm friends 🤣

I spend a lot of time hanging out with Marshall for someone who never wanted an emu.

Fun story, ya girl had to have an EKG today. 🫠 around 3am this morning the cat spooked me awake so bad that when jumping up out of my slumber, it was immediate chest pains. Now you laugh, I thought most likely I had twinged something. Attempted to sleep it off but my middle of my shoulders, around into my ribs, and straight in the middle of my chest felt like the worst crushing sensation. After 6 hours and shortness of breath, I decided to get checked out. Better safe than sorry in my condition.

EKG was normal. Urine normal. Blood pressure okay.

Moral of the story, my kitten is a b***y hole and now I’m down in my upper back.

Always go get checked, even if it’s nothing.
