In my inaugural smashburger endeavor for Week 6, I achieved remarkable success, producing burgers that were both easy to make and packed with flavor. The key ingredients included a 73/27 ground beef blend, generous Heath Riles BBQ Beef Rub, and freshly made bacon bits. The cooking process entailed heating a cast iron griddle over hot coals, seasoning with bacon grease, sautéing red onion, and smashing the burgers after a brief sear.
