Some days I have so many tasks in the workshop or at home, that I don't have much time to spend outside. Even on those days, though, I prioritize coming out first thing in the morning, and then during my favorite time of day, the golden hour when the sun is low and glowing golden and red and the shadows are so very long.

Not only do I think these are the most beautiful moments of the day, they are also integral moments for my circadian rhythm calibration. Our brains know how to read the sunlight bathing us and to adjust for whether it's time to rev our systems for a long day ahead of us, or whether its time to slow down and prepare our body for rest and repair mode.

This is what holistic beauty is all about - aligning ourselves with the natural rhythm that our bodies are meant to live by. By honoring all our cycles—daily, weekly, monthly—we end up feeling better, living better, and looking better.
