All moved in and ready to go! 🐑🖤

Valais KC has officially arrived in Des Moines for the 4th Annual USA Valais Blacknose Show & Grading Event!

The pens are set, the sheep are settled, and we’re excited to showcase what we’ve been working toward this year. This is our first year attending, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of such a great event and surrounded by so many breeders who are passionate about this incredible breed.

We’re headed to Des Moines! 🐑🇺🇸

Valais KC is excited to make our first appearance at the 2026 USA National Valais Blacknose Sheep Show, Grading & Sale!

We’ll be bringing four purebred lambs — two ewe lambs and two ram lambs — as we take this next step in our breeding program.

This is our first time stepping onto the show ring with these lambs, and we’re incredibly excited to showcase what we’ve been working toward at Valais KC.

If you’re attending, stop by our pens, meet the sheep, and come say hello! We’d love to meet you, talk sheep, and share a little about what we’re building.

We hired a new farm hand…

One of the most rewarding parts of raising these amazing animals is seeing our lambs go on to their new homes and watching the joy they bring to the people who choose them.

We put so much time, care, and love into raising each one, so it means the world to receive photos like this and see them thriving, happy, and so loved.

We may have to say goodbye when they leave our farm, but seeing them become part of someone else’s story makes it a little easier.

There’s just something pretty special about knowing one of the lambs you raised is out there making someone smile. ❤️
