🐴🇺🇸 Twenty-five years after the attacks on the Twin Towers, we pause to remember the lives taken on September 11, 2001—and the families, survivors, and first responders forever changed by that day. 🕯️❤️🤍💙

Today, we honor Liberty #911, a Clydesdale/Hackney cross whose name and number carry a powerful promise: never forget. Liberty was named and numbered in honor of those who lost their lives as a result of the September 11 attacks.

More than a mounted patrol horse, Liberty represents quiet strength, steady service, and the enduring bond between a community and those who protect it. With every measured step, Liberty offers a visible, reassuring presence alongside the Madison Mounted Patrol. 👮‍♀️🐎

Twenty-five years later, 911 is more than an emergency number or an identifier. It is a tribute that calls us to reflect on the lives lost at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93. It asks us to honor the courage of the first responders and ordinary people who acted with extraordinary bravery. 🌟

May Liberty’s name remind us that remembrance is active. It lives in compassion, service, courage, and care for one another. It lives in neighbors showing up for neighbors. It lives in our shared commitment to carry forward the memory of those we lost with dignity and respect. 🤍

Horseshoe Hideaway’s Newest Addition! 🐴🔥

We are so excited to share the newest addition to our Horseshoe Hideaway cabin! A beautiful new deck and staircase leading down to our wood-fired fire pit! 🔥

Complete with hand-carved benches branded with our logos, this new space overlooks our peaceful pond and gives you a front-row view of the mares and foals enjoying their pasture. There really is something special about sitting by the fire, listening to the sounds of the farm, and watching the horses just beyond the pond. ❤️

We are so proud of how quickly we were able to complete this addition, and we can’t wait for our guests to enjoy this special new space!

Chance is doing excellent and is so happy to finally be off stall rest after recovering from his rib injury. He certainly doesn’t realize he was ever supposed to take it easy, and he’s thrilled to be stretching his legs again!

His mom, Stella, is still a little sore after spending so much time in the barn, but she’s just as happy to be back outside enjoying the fresh grass and sunshine. Watching her relax in the pasture has been a welcome sight.

Meanwhile, Chance’s friend, Sirius, is feeling especially playful! Full of energy and personality, he keeps trying to convince his mom that it’s time to play.

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone’s kind thoughts and support during Chance’s recovery. Seeing these horses healthy, happy, and back where they belong—in the pasture—is the best reward we could ask for.

The new run-in shed is complete! 🎉

Just in time for our mares and foals to enjoy a little extra shade, shelter, and comfort. We added another 40 feet of covered space, and we’re thrilled with how it turned out.

🐴☕️The Final Foaling ☕️🐴

This morning, we welcomed the final foal of our 2026 foaling season, a beautiful Belgian filly we have named Fields of Foals Mocha’s Miss Cocoa.

With her arrival, another incredible foaling season comes to a close. Watching each new life enter the world has been a blessing, and Miss Cocoa is the perfect way to finish the season. She arrived healthy, strong, and full of curiosity, already capturing our hearts with her sweet personality and beautiful presence.

Every foal is special, but there is always something bittersweet about the last one of the year. Miss Cocoa marks the end of a season filled with excitement, long nights, happy and scared moments, and memories we will cherish for years to come.

We are so thankful for all of our mares, foals, friends, and supporters who have followed along with us throughout the season. We can’t wait to watch Miss Cocoa grow and see what the future holds for this lovely young filly.
