While all of our older birds have the best personalities.. these especially will be very friendly, because my two year old plays with them constantly. 🤣❤️ They are all “her” chickens.. what do I know lol. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Just an FYI Ameraucanas will be going up in price some. I am finding very little people have them, and who does is charging double or more, than I am.
With that being said, I want to make sure I am continuing to be in a reasonable range, but I also did not plan to be booking out so far with them so quickly with my small flock.

**This will not affect current orders, this is effective for orders moving forward.**

An order of all 6 ermine going to a customer!

We had 15 ermine color between the Ameraucana and OE this hatch. Leaving only 2 blacks!! Thank goodness for dominant whites! 😍

I am still adjusting to hatching in the new house with the wood stove. My first hatch prior to this I had it in a location that wasn’t as temperature stable as I thought, and I ended up making a foolish error trying to wrap the base and getting the base slightly stuck open on the towel after candling. 😩 This last hatch, I moved the incubator and had a wonderful hatch. Because of all those factors, I have not been able to get an accurate fertility rating- but I know we are doing well. When I can update this more accurately, I absolutely will.

Ermine Ameraucana🤍🖤

Multiple different birds, two different ages. Newly hatched spots, and two week old spots. I just love watching the color come in on the ermines! A chick can appear nearly all white at hatch, and that certainly doesn’t mean it won’t have a nice balanced color once it’s fully feathered. On the other hand, I have found large spots at hatch, end up being larger patchy areas of color! It’s also advised to not to fully judge your chicken’s ermine color until after the first molt. 🖤🤍

(Our ermine Ameraucanas are sold out until mid summer, I will be taking a couple more orders of them, and then closing for the season.) We do have ermine OE available. 🙂

Primarily Chocolate colors, and greens.. some with heavy blooms and speckles. They were bred back to my Ameraucana.

Dolly’s babies have allll the muffs. 😍 I love the look of the Ameraucana chicks so much. 🪺

Every egg that went into hatch down, hatched.. & holy ermine color!! 😍

Greta the OE, made it 3 more ermine and one black. That was 6 in a row between the last two hatches, ermine! Go girl! 😍

I can’t believe how well the Ameraucanas did color wise. Pros of having dominant white in your flock! 🪺

One of my favorite Ameraucanas Dolly had many ermines, which is the start to our very own line here. I am beaming with excitement. She’s had the most beautiful couple of black babies the last hatch, with the biggest muffs for chicks.. However, I’m currently not growing out black… If I do, it won’t be many. Having our roo being the only black, is working out perfectly thus far. I can’t wait to see her babies dried off, and growing up in the future. Very exciting!

Another farm favorite, “Andor” the speckled, green egg, Easter egger had 4 gorgeous black chicks. I swear they have her personality, and they haven’t even left the incubator yet. They are all pushing their way through, to get my attention. 🤣 She is the BOSS of the belly rub line. She also keeps the Roos behaving perfectly. Everyone needs an Andor… 😊
