Your car is not an office.

We’re two recovering distribution reps. We know what it’s like to take a Zoom from a Whole Foods parking lot, pour samples that aren’t to temp, and how impossible it feels to hunt down a Coravin capsule or needle when you need one most.

So we built the thing we always needed.

The Trade Collective at Oenophile Institute is a monthly membership for wine industry professionals: weekday access to a refined, quiet space with chillers, printer, proper stemware, Wi-Fi, coffee, snacks, and parking that doesn’t require divine intervention.

The gents are taking over the teaching after this evening while the gals take a short break.

And this week at OI, they’re going everywhere. Champagne’s most misunderstood grape finally gets its moment. California proves there’s life beyond Napa. Rosé defends its honor. France shows us the corners of the map nobody talks about, and we trace wine all the way back to where it started — like, actually started. Then finish up on Sunday with red wine from Rias Baixas… yeah you read that right.

This week is all about having somm fun.

We’ve packed the calendar with tastings worth showing up for, and honestly, we couldn’t pick a favorite if we tried.

Kick things off with a galaxy far, far away as we pair all nine Star Wars movies with wine. Light side, dark side, and every bottle in between. May the pour be with you.

And listen, you do not need to fight for parking just to get your margarita on Cinco de Mayo. Skip the chaos and come try our spicy wine pairings instead. Same heat, way better vibe.

We’re closing out the week with picnic-perfect wines and a hands-on session crafting sparkling wine cocktails. Bubbles plus sunshine equals the only math that matters.
