Cookie Fam — we want to be completely transparent with you about something that has been weighing on us. 🍪❤️

As many of you know we have been in the process of selling our Smyrna shop at 1080 Windy Hill Road. We found a buyer. The buyer and our landlord came to an agreement. Everything was moving in the right direction.

And then the City stepped in.

Despite our shop being built and approved just 5 years ago — the City is now requiring a significantly larger grease trap installation as a condition of the sale. We are not talking about a minor upgrade. We are talking about a massive grease trap requirement that was never part of the original build and that makes the sale extremely complicated for all parties involved.

So right now — the sale has not gone through. And we are in a bind trying to figure out the best path forward. 🙏❤️

We are sharing this because you deserve to know. You have been part of this journey from day one. You showed up for our closing weekend. You came to the pop ups. You have followed this chapter with so much love and support — and we owe you honesty.

We do not have all the answers right now. But we are working through it and we are not giving up. 🍪💪

What we DO know — the truck keeps rolling. Catering season is in full swing. The cookies never stop. And this community has carried us through every challenge we have ever faced.

We will keep you updated as things develop. Thank you for your grace. Thank you for your patience. And thank you for always showing up for us. 🙏❤️

The best chapter of Not As Famous Cookie Co. is still ahead. 🍪🔥

No pop up today — but we will see you at StillFire TOMORROW 🍪❤️

No pop up today — and here is why. 🍪🔥

We looked at the streets this morning and they are absolutely clear throughout the area. And honestly — that tells us everything we need to know.

Our community is taking this seriously. People are staying home. Staying safe. And that is exactly what they should be doing.

We are not going to ask anyone to come out for cookies when the right call is to stay in. Your safety will always matter more than any pop up. 🙏❤️

So today we rest. We stay in. And we encourage every single one of you to do the same.

Stay home. Stay dry. Stay safe. 🙏❤️

BUT — we will see you TOMORROW. 🍪🔥

🚚 TOMORROW — Sunday October 11th
Big Show at StillFire Brewery
1:00 – 7:00 PM
📍 5 Atlanta St, Smyrna, GA 30080

StillFire is literally 3 minutes from our former shop location in Smyrna. So if you are out and about tomorrow and feeling safe to venture out — come find the truck. We will be there and we cannot wait to see you. 🍪❤️

And we will plan another pop up at the shop as soon as the weather clears and conditions are right. Stay tuned. 👀🍪

Thank you for understanding. Thank you for always showing grace. And thank you for being the most loyal Cookie Fam a small business could ever ask for. 🙏❤️
