A little throwback to 2016 right after we got our first round bale cotton picker! I always ran the boll buggy (similar to grain cart) or the module builder (cotton is dumped inside and it is packed to form a large rectangle module of cotton which is covered and hauled to the gin). The new picker eliminated both of those jobs, so I was looking for a new one!

This field of soybeans is beside the driveway to my Airbnb. Why is this small patch still green when the rest of the field is brown? Glad you asked! Soybeans mature due to the number of hours of daylight they recieve. Continuous exposure to light disrupts their internal clock and prevents them from receiving the darkness signals needed to mature. If they never get any darkness, they never mature!
