Turned a candy machine into a bird feeder because… why not?

Birds aren’t just cute background characters on a flower farm. They’re part of the crew.

They snack on insects that would happily destroy dahlias, seedlings, and all our hard work.
They help keep pest populations in check without sprays.
They add movement, sound, and life to the field and make the farm feel extra whimsical. Anyone else love sound of birds singing in the morning?!

Healthy bird populations = healthier soil, fewer pests, stronger plants, and better blooms.
So yes, the birds now have a candy machine. No candy. Just seeds.

Is it extra? Absolutely.
Is it functional? Also yes.
Is this how sustainable flower farming sometimes looks? 100%.

Support your local birds.
