In 1912, Fred and Agnes Bartelheimer left Nebraska with their four children.

They loaded their livestock and belongings on a rail car and headed to Snohomish, Washington. They purchased some acreage within the river valley and began to clear the brush and farm around the stumps. Today, Dan and Judy Bartelheimer (third generation) and Peter and Kyla

Garlic butter steak bites using our Sno-Valley Farms grass-fed top sirloin. Just steak, butter, garlic, salt, and pepper. The grass-fed sirloin cooks quickly, gets a great sear, and the garlic butter finishes it off without needing much else. It’s an easy weeknight dinner that still feels special! Served with asparagus and a chopped salad for a simple, balanced meal. Tag us when you make this!

Today we are celebrating all the incredible moms who nurture, protect, and care for the next generation every single day. On the farm, that includes our amazing cow moms who spend their days watching over their calves, and teaching them how to thrive!
There is something really special about spring on the farm. Seeing new calves grow alongside their mothers is a daily reminder of patience, care, and the beauty of new life. We are so thankful for the mothers in our families, our community, and the strong cow moms who make life on the farm possible!

This month we celebrate the farmers, ranchers, and families who work every day to responsibly raise high quality beef. From early mornings to late nights, caring for animals and land is a year round commitment that we are proud to be part of.

🔥 Smoked Steak Night on the Traeger 🔥
Low-temp smoke for deep flavor, then a hot sear to finish for that perfect steakhouse-style bite! A perfect combo for a smoky, tender steak dinner at home.

Our next recipe we made is a smoked flank steak and London broil, finished with a hard sear for that crust and juicy center.
Our favorite add-on: blue cheese butter melting right over the top.

Our favorite sides:
Fresh chimichurri for brightness
Asparagus salad, fresh fruit and crusty bread on the side
