Fall makes me want to bake! Although we are in the 80s for temp this week, we have leaves turning colors and falling around the farm. From scratch chicken pot pie tonight! What do you like to cook or bake in the fall?

We have some pretty new duck hens that have arrived on the farm! We hope that will help with our duck egg production. These are Golden Appleyards. 🥰 Welcome ladies!

Some new sweet piglets arrived on the farm today! Thankful to Melissa Sharpe for helping us out. We got our boar from their farm and now a future gilt! As well as some for raising out for sausage, chops, bacon, etc. 🥰

Come by the The Corner Farmers Market tomorrow to taste our Boston Butt smoked two different ways in a head to head competition! You get to support the market and help others with your donation, plus get to taste test some amazing pork!

Going to church on a Sunday in North Carolina! The pig tie was a gift from our kids. :) Thankful today for the gift of life, salvation, family, and our farm!

We've been really pleased with our goat herd this year! We've thankfully had some access to new pastures, and it has helped tremendously.

Gobble gobble! Looking for a Thanksgiving turkey? Ours are raised on grass/in our woods and on non-GMO feed. Contact us today or at the The Corner Farmers Market on Saturdays to reserve yours!

Today we went to the processor to pick up four pigs worth of meat. It was a big restock day! We got back a bunch of our sausage flavors, some beautiful boston butts, and boneless chops! We will have bacon again in a few weeks.

Where can you find us? At the farm every day! Or at the The Corner Farmers Market each Saturday from 8am-12pm. ❤️ www.befarmnc.com

It's been a very long and exhausting couple of weeks of prodromal labor, but our newest little farmhand has finally arrived this week. Olivia Grace is enjoying snuggles with the family, and Elissa is getting rest. ❤️ Thank you all for your care for our family as we adjust to life right now!
