Dinner Bell Farm is a small family owned and operated farm in beautiful southern Alamance County, NC. We grow a wide variety of vegetables and herbs, as well as pasture-raised laying hens. We sell directly to customers through our CSA with pick-up sites in Burlington, Elon, Graham, Snow Camp, and Saxapahaw. Our CSA newsletter features a fabulous salad recipe each week and a variety of delicious re
cipes for side and main dishes. We also sell at the North Park Farmers Market in Burlington on Tuesdays (3-6pm) and the Elon Farmers Market on Thursdays (3-6pm), as well as some local restaurants and groceries. Our produce is ALWAYS grown without the use of any synthetic pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers. You can be assured that we are building healthy soils, caring for the watershed, and using natural practices which produce nutritionally dense – and delicious - vegetables. Produce grown this way not only tastes better, but is better for you and the planet! We move their coop every week to a fresh field. Their food is a non-GMO, high-grade ration which they supplement with lots of natural foraging and plenty of excess farm vegetables. Recent studies have found that real free-range eggs have less cholesterol and saturated fat, plus more vitamins A and E, beta carotene and polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids. You will find the eggs exceptional in flavor with deep golden yolks indicating high nutrition. We are new to the area and putting down deep roots in this place – getting involved in local community projects, nourishing our neighbors and caring for the land.
