Alright y'all, I have another egg supplier! His chickens are laying like crazy:)
No time like the present to make the switch from store bought factory eggs to fresh pasture raised eggs! I have enough ppl supplying now that I think we can keep stocked even when chickens slow down.

Strawberries were a hit, so I want to be able to expand in the future. I invested in a plastic mulch layer cause y'all, I spent my whole winter last year weeding this patch and I ain't doing that again 😅 we did a few short rows to see how the strawberries did with transplanting, keeping up between the rows etc.
Next fall, Lord willing, I'll know some things for my next big patch!
Produce work doesn't end when the veggies are done, and it's so fun learning, trying new things and cultivating what God has given us!

We have MEAT!!!
I'm so excited that we are now licensed to sell meat from our farm!
We're starting out with pork and will expand from there.
It is priced per pound, weight on packaging, you will need to do a little figuring but I think y'all are all capable and most of you know the drill on our farm☺️

The weather has turned beautiful again! We still have plenty more pumpkins! Pick your own or grab from the stand or along the Rd.
We also have one last batch of sweet corn, lots of tomatoes, watermelon, butternut squash, eggplant and the occasional zucchini (pick your own veggies for FREE:)
And y'all! We've been working on something super exciting, can't wait to tell you! Stay tuned😃

Well the first day of fall definitely felt like it after that beautiful rain:) We are so thankful!
Come get some pumpkins. We have plenty in the field if you'd like to pick your own, and there's some lined up along the Rd. Or just grab from the stand🎃

I thought I was done getting peaches, but no, they're back!!!

We were out for a couple days but I have peaches again:) probably won't be able to get them much longer. ..the rest of the things are a little understocked today due to a very busy day, but should be loaded back up again tomorrow☺️ y'all have a beautiful evening!

I had good help picking pumpkins this morning:)
We are so sorry we're still out of corn for y'all! The patch didn't produce with this drought and was too far out for us to keep it watered. We'll see how the next batch does, might still be a couple weeks yet.

This may be a controversial post😂 but how can you not get excited about fall with the weather we've been having?!
I picked some early pumpkins this morning♥️🎃 and boy am I excited about em, they're looking real good!!
Anyways, don't worry, we still have sunflowers and all the summer things😏

We've been busy preparing for these cows and Bessie had her calf a lot sooner than expected! We've had to give him some help but have high hopes he'll do fine!
Stand is stocked with all the normal, sweet corn, watermelon, canteloupe, tomatoes, peaches, cukes, zucchini, squash, jam, onions, potatoes, limas later on today when I get a chance to pick them:) they go fast so hit me up if you want me to hold them for you.

Reminder that we are closed on Sundays.
Also a reminder that if the corn is sold out on the stand there's usually more in the fridge in the red shed. I forgot to stock it before we went to the beach tonight and it was all out when we came back, I'm so sorry if someone didn't get what they wanted!

One of our loyal customers brought his grandkids to pick some veggies. They had so much fun digging potatoes, picking green beans, beets, tomatoes, corn, cukes, squash, zucchini, kale, flowers, pulling onions, and feeding the horses. We love opportunities like this to teach, have fun and share our farm☺️

We had an amazing vacation in the mountains! That's why you haven't seen us at the stand for a while.
Picking wild blueberries, chasing sunsets and waterfalls, exploring, hiking, hanging with family, and resting.... And now we're back and ready to roll again☺️
Thanks to our farm hand Elliot for keeping the stand and farm while we were gone.

Whipped this up tonight and y'all😍
Southwest corn fry
1 onion
1 pepper
1 jalapeño (makes the dish pretty spicy, adjust according to your taste:)
Butter
Olive oil.....chop and saute
Add 4 ears corn cut off,
1 chopped tomato
Salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder.......simmer
Add 2 garlic cloves, fresh cilantro beans......stir fry just a little more
Finish with a splash of lime to brighten the flavor. And enjoy!!!
I served it with beef steak and tomato cuke salad😋
