A Very Difficult Goodbye ❤️
After many tears and countless conversations, we’ve made one of the hardest decisions of our lives.
We have decided it is time to close our little shop and see where life leads us next.
This past year has changed us in ways we never could have imagined. Losing our oldest son has been the deepest heartbreak of our lives. Since then, we’ve done our best to keep moving forward, but we’ve come to realize that healing sometimes means letting go of things you love so you can make room for what your heart needs most.
Our little shop has never just been a business.
It has been a dream. A place filled with local honey, fresh coffee, handmade pottery, fresh produce, kombucha, fresh sourdough and baked goods. It became something beautiful because of all of you.
To every person who stopped in to browse, bought from a local maker, shared our posts, encouraged us, or simply walked through our doors-thank you. You made this little red shed so much more than four walls.
This town has been our home for the past 12 years. We’ve made friendships we’ll carry with us forever, and we’ll always be grateful for the kindness and support you’ve shown our family.
As difficult as this decision is, we know it’s the right one. We need a fresh start. We need the space to heal. So we’ll be closing our doors and beginning a new chapter somewhere new.
While this goodbye is incredibly painful, we don’t want it to overshadow how grateful we are. We will always cherish the memories made here and the community that welcomed us.
From the bottom of our hearts…
Thank you for believing in our little shop.
Thank you for shopping small.
Thank you for supporting local.
Thank you for loving us through both the joyful days and the heartbreaking ones.
We hope you’ll stop by one last time before we close. We’d love the chance to thank you in person, share a hug, and say goodbye.
With love and endless gratitude,
❤️ April & Family
