Three Reasons a Juniper Flowers CSA is the perfect gift for Valentine’s Day!
1) The gift that keeps on giving. Why give one bouquet for Valentine’s Day when you could give a bouquet subscription! CSA members will get fresh flowers all season long. Remind your loved one that you care (not just tomorrow but all summer long)!
2) Ethical Sourcing. All of our flowers are grown using regenerative agricultural practices. Our flowers are free of pesticides and preservatives that are hard to break down and pollute our land and water. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the bouquets you may see this time of year (sorry City Market). We are your sustainable alternative.
3) Support a local farm! Like we said, all of our flowers are grown just down the road from you. We are a team of local women running a small business. Support small this Valentine’s Day ❤️❤️❤️.

The position for farm employee is immersed in learning the intricacies of food and flower production in a high-altitude climate. You will be provided an overview of basic sustainable agriculture practices including: soil fertility, w**d management, integrated pest management, succession planting, irrigation, and marketing. The work is very hands on and ideal for someone interested in applying an interest in sustainable food to a hands-on production farm.

We are currently looking for someone from May 2022 through September 2022, and will be paid hourly based on experience. This position is 20 hours/ week. There is some flexibility to accommodate other job(s). One weekend per month for the summer season, the employee will be responsible for attending the Farmers’ Market on behalf of Juniper Farm- the employee will be responsible for selling products at the Farmers’ Market, set-up/breakdown for the market, irrigating the farm, and managing harvests for the market. This aspect of the job requires a self starter and someone who is competent working independently on the farm.
