Shirley Ray Lytle, 81, of Rule, Texas, passed away on October 10, 2026.

Born on February 11, 1945, in Blythe, California, Shirley lived a life filled with love, faith, creativity, and devotion to those she held dear.

Shirley had a special gift for creating beautiful things with her hands. She enjoyed plastic canvas projects and all kinds of crafts, finding happiness in the simple joys of making something special. She also had a deep love for animals, whose companionship brought her much comfort and joy.

Above all, Shirley loved Jesus. Her faith was an important part of who she was and remained with her until the very end. In fact, one of the last things she spoke about was her love for Jesus — a beautiful and comforting reminder of the faith she carried throughout her life.

Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved son, Bill Hix.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew and Tanya Lytle and Ron and Robin Hix; her grandchildren, Madison and Colter Smith and David Hix; along with other family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

While her family will deeply miss her presence, her love, the memories she created, and the faith she held so dearly will live on in their hearts.

Though she is no longer with us here on earth, we find comfort in knowing that she is now in the arms of the Savior she loved so much.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 13,2026 at 10:00 am the Claremont Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Dorothy Jo Lloyd passed away peacefully on October 5, 2026. She was born on November 25, 1952, in Colorado City, Texas, to Clifton Dale and Jo Lois Cotton (Johnson).

Visitation for Dorothy Lloyd is set for Friday October 9th,2026 from 6:00 PM to 8;00 PM at Miller Family Funeral Home. Her Service is set for Saturday October 10th,2026 at 2:00 PM, at Miller Family Funeral Home, with Steve Highfield officiating the services.

Dorothy found joy in the simple things in life. She loved reading books, spending time with her family and friends, playing games, and creating beautiful crafts through plastic canvassing. She cherished the time she shared with those she loved and will be remembered for the warmth and joy she brought to their lives. Dorothy was a faithful member of East Side Church of Christ.

Dorthy is survived by her daughter Diana Folk (Gary) of San Angelo, Texas, her granddaughter Kendra Iglehart of Snyder, Texas, her grandson Timothy and (Bri) Iglehart of Grand Rapids, Michigan, grand daughter Bethany Iglehart of Killeen, Texas, her great grandchildren Jaxon Beasley of Snyder, Texas, Juliette Iglehart of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Korbyn Iglehart of Killeen, Texas, her niece Cyndi McCann, her two nephews Chris Ellard and Jon Ellard, Numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends. Her fur baby Max which she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, father Clifton Dale Cotton, her mother Jo Louis Cotton (Johnson), her sister Denise Ellard and numerous other family members.

A special thank you to Katrina Baze for all the care, comfort and support of mom.

She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family, friends, church family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Vicente Frausto, 85, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026. He was born on December 22, 1940, in Harlingen, Texas, to Callentano Frausto and Marcas (Beltram) Frausto.

Visitation is set for Thursday September 24,2026 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Miller Family Funeral Home in Snyder, Texas. The Services are set for Friday September 25,2026 at 10:00 am at Miller Family Funeral Home with Father Albert Joseph Devansesan HGN officiating the services. Interment will follow at the Snyder Cemetery.

Vicente married the love of his life, Maria Alvarez, on December 20, 1969. As a young adult, he helped his father work on the family farm, picking cotton, planting crops, and tending to the animals before and after school. His strong work ethic and dedication remained a part of him throughout his life. In the early 1980's, Vicente was employed by Welex until the company closed its doors. He then went to work for the City of Snyder, driving sanitation trucks until his retirement. Even after retiring, Vicente continued working part-time for the City of Snyder, watering and caring for the plants around the courthouse for several more years.

Vicente enjoyed traveling to different states, and one of his favorite pastimes was visiting casinos. He also loved fishing and watching football on television-on any night of the week, you could often find him enjoying a game. Vicente and Maria were devoted members of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. They were always ready and willing to help in any way they could. Vicente was especially proud to be a member of the Knights of Columbus and valued the friendships and fellowship he found there.

He is survived by his wife Frances Reyna of Snyder, Texas, his sister-in-law Eusevia Alvarez, his nephew Johnny Alverez, his niece Lo Ann Leighton, his niece Linda Morin and husband Simon, his niece Lindsay Pona and husband Johnny, and nephew Zane Morin, the Alvarez family, The Hermosillo family and the Chaidez family.

He is preceded in death by his parents Callentano and Marcas Frausto, his first wife Maria Frausto, his brother-in-law Lorenzo Alverez, his sister-in-law Romana Alverez, his brother-in-law Jesus Alverez, his sister-in-law Soccoro Chaidez and Emilano Chaidez his brother-in-law, and his brother-in-law Joe Alverez.

Vicente was a simple man who enjoyed life and found happiness in the things that mattered most: family, faith, hard work, and the simple pleasures of everyday life. He will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Dennis Lee Sellars, 77, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026. He was born on January 29, 1948, in Post, Texas, to Doyle Sellars and Rena Cooley (Pylant).

Dennis Sellars service is set for Monday September 28,2026 at 2:00 PM, at Miller Family Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Lowry officiating the services.

Dennis lived a life full of adventure, family, and the simple pleasures that made him happy. He served in the United States Navy after joining right out of school at the age of sixteen. His life was marked by determination, hard work, and a willingness to take on whatever came his way. Dennis was an avid fisherman who loved spending time outdoors. Whether he was fishing, camping with his family, or hunting, he enjoyed being outside and making memories with the people he loved. He especially cherished time spent with his grandchildren, who held a special place in his heart.

One of Dennis's favorite pastimes was making his own fishing tackle. He enjoyed working with his hands and creating things that added to his love of fishing. For him, fishing was more than just a hobby. It was a way to relax, enjoy nature, and spend quality time with family. Dennis also had a sweet tooth that his loved ones will always remember. He was known for enjoying sweets and could even sit down and eat an entire pie at one time. That fun-loving side of him is sure to bring smiles and laughter to those who knew him best.

Above all, Dennis loved his family. The stories, laughter, and everyday moments shared with his loved ones will become cherished memories that live on for years to come. Dennis will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his passion for fishing, his sense of humor, and his devotion to family. Though he will be deeply missed, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Dennis is survived by two sisters Lois Bridgeman of Madill, OK, and Darlene Terry of Snyder, Texas. His son Richard Sellars and wife Angie of Wickett, Texas, daughter Kimberly Wright of Lockhart, Texas, Son Lonnie Rawlls and wife Darla of Yukon, Ok., John Rawls and wife Terri of Snyder, Texas, daughter Melissa Bullard and husband Beau of Lubbock, /Texas, and son Lynn Daviln of Eules, Texas. 22 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, father Doyle Sellars and his mother Rena Cooley (Pylant), and wife Johnnie Sellars.

Dennis will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished.

Roxy Dwayne Small 75, passed away on September 17,2026. He was born on August 3,1951 in Portales, New Mexico to Nathan and Doris (Duffy) Small. His parents lived in Snyder, Texas at the time he was born, however they had the doctor in Portales, New Mexico deliver Roxy.

Roxy grew up and was raised in Snyder, Texas, where he attended first grade all the way through high school where he graduated from Snyder High School. He then would attend Western Texas College, and he was one of the first graduates from Western Texas College. His name is on a marker at Western Texas College as one of the first graduates. He would then go on to receive his bachelor's degree in welding engineering from Tarleton State University in Stevensville, Texas.

He then started working as a welder for the company YZ industries for several years. Roxy later worked at E.D. Walton Construction as a welder for many years. He later worked at Southern Electric, specifically in the lumber department. Roxy played baseball in his youth and coached youth baseball. Specifically Farm League, little league and pony league. He tried out for Philadelphia Phillies baseball team.

Roxy then married Lyn Hardy of Colorado City, Texas in 1996 and then gain his two adult children. Roxy lived in both Snyder, Texas and Colorado City, Texas with Lyn. Roxy was an avid deer and elk hunter throughout his life and collected many deer mounts. Roxy loved dancing to country and western music and going to the V.F.W. Roxy was always smiling and never met a stranger and had a good sense of humor. Roxy was a deacon at the Cowboy church here in Snyder, Texas. When the church moved to Westbrook, Texas he attended there briefly before he had to move to Hobbs New Mexico to be closer to his children due to medical care. Roxy had somewhat lengthy health challenges over the past couple of years of his life.

Roxy is survived by his brother Malcom and wife Debbie Small of Snyder, Texas, his children son Lonnie and wife Mayetle Mitchell of Clovis, New Mexico, and daughter April Balderrama of Seminole, Texas. An uncle Clinton Small and wife Barbara of Marietta, Ga. Grandson Sean Valaszuez and wife Sammie of Seminole, Texas, granddaughter Shelby Rivera and husband Joe of Seminole, Texas. Nephew Cameron Ethridge and wife Kimberly of Lubbock, Texas, Niece Lindsey Hernandez and husband RJ of Snyder, Texas, niece Brianna Lee and husband Joseph of Mckinney, Texas, as well as many bonus nieces and nephews. And many great nieces and nephews, and great- great nieces and nephews, and cousins. A Memorial later will be conducted at his wishes. He is preceded in death by his parents father Nathan Small and mother Doris (Duffy) Small of Snyder, Texas, a sister Jovita Ethridge of Slaton, Texas.

We are deeply saddened to share the loss of our beloved son, ACЕ. Daniel 'ACE' Raney passed away Monday September 14, 2026, he was only 17 years old. Ace was born in Abilene, Texas on June 4, 2009.

His journey through life was not an easy one being born prematurely; however, he defied all odds and fought the toughest battles to be here with us for as long as possible. We are so grateful and blessed for the time and love we shared with him. He had a love of music, Disney movies mostly Rio and Frozen, and he had the biggest most joyful smile! Those who knew him best would understand his love and comfort from his spoons. We never went anywhere without them!! He had an undeniable bond with his Nanie who gave him endless love squeezes. No words will ever be able to express the profound impact he had on all our lives. He will forever be with us in our hearts.

He is survived by his parents, Anthony and Vanessa Pace, older sister Danielle Pace, and younger brother, Nicholas Pace all of Snyder, Texas. His Uncle James and Aunt Teryn Raney, Uncle Justin Raney, Uncle Joshua Raney of Roscoe, Tx. His Uncle Blake and Aunt Angela of Coahoma, Tx. His maternal grandfather, Jim Raney of Roscoe, Tx and paternal grandfather, David Pace of Snyder, Tx. As well as many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Joan Kendrick (Nanie), maternal grandmother, Donna Raney, paternal grandmother, Donna Pace, and his Uncle Chris We would like to thank his nurse of five years Melanie Golding. You became a special part of our family and cared for Ace with your whole heart. We are forever grateful! We would also like to thank the many medical professionals, nurses, and therapists that cared for Ace along the way. You all made a lasting impact and helped us provide him with the best life possible.

Brenda Dianne Clem, 72, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2026. Brenda was born on January 15, 1954, in Midland, Texas to Loy and Wanda Botsford. She will be remembered and deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation is set for Monday September 7, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Miller Family Funeral Home in Snyder, Texas. Services are set for Tuesday September 8, 2026 at 10:00AM, at First Baptist Church in Snyder, Texas with Dr. Jim Jessup officiating the services. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens in Snyder, Texas.

Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She cherished spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed arts and crafts and enjoyed sewing in her spare time. She was devoted in her faith and was a member of the Assemblies of God. She was a volunteer with Girl Scouts, United Way, and Scurry County Historical Society. She worked for Golden Corral, Circle-In Grocery Store, Snyder Drug, and Peak Completions Technologies.

She is survived by her loving husband, Fred Clem of Hermleigh, Texas. Her two daughters, Dawn Kirby and husband AJ of Wills Point, Texas and Misty Nettles and husband Jay of Midland, Texas. One son, Shannon Clem of Ruidoso, New Mexico. Three granddaughters, Leslie Haley of Colorado City, Texas, Alexandra Reynolds and husband Austin of Snyder, Texas, and Marisa Rosa of Las Vegas, Nevada. Two grandsons, Jackson Haley of Lubbock, Texas and Kai Clem of Ruidoso, New Mexico. Two great grandsons, Asher Reynolds of Snyder, Texas and Athan Rosa of Las Vegas, Nevada. Three great granddaughters, Jacklyn and Addison Murphy and Sunny Haley of Colorado City, Texas. One sister, Charlotte Shepperd and husband Ronnie of Lewisville, Texas. Two sisters-in-law, Donna Winner and husband Stephen of Clute, Texas and Sharon Jessup and husband Jim of Casa Grande, Arizona. One daughter-in-law, Summer Clem of Las Vegas, Nevada. One grandson-in-law, Dillan Murphy of Snyder, Texas. As well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Loy and Wanda Botsford, parents-in-law, C.B. and Katherine Clem, and son-in-law, Jack Haley.

Those who knew Brenda will remember her for the memories she made, the time she spent with her family, and the love she shared with those around her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
