Did anyone else's Mom say, "put your money where your mouth is?"

I think she meant to show with my actions, time, & money, not just words, that i believed something to be true.

When I believe something to be true, I invest in it.

I invest in myself, my business, my friends, family, & community. And where I invest financially, I'll inevitably invest my time.

Likewise, where I invest my time, I'm more likely to invest my money.

I'm always analyzing my investments, financially and time wise to see if the outcome will be what I want. If not I adjust my OODA- loop.

What seeds am I planting?
Is that the harvest I want in my life?
Physically and metaphorically?

According to nutrient data released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the increased nutrients for organic eggs may be because of the different diets the hens are given. Regardless, this kind of high-quality nutrition just hasn’t been seen in the standard egg.

Huge congratulations to
They're the first farm to be awarded this certification in the State of Colorado.

They're blazing new trails, going against the norm for potato growers in the Valley and I am so proud of them for doing so .

They can meet the far.ers, and try some food straight off the farm.

And I don't know about other markets but we have great music each week which kids seem to enjoy.

Another idea is to grow some food yourself. Chives are a good seed to plant this time of year around trees or in pots. They spring up so bright and green and have such pretty little flowers on them.

Anyway to get the kiddos in touch with our food system.

I think "globalization" has good and bad benefits but the one I find so challenging is what it's done to our connection with food.

So here's a solution -
Go visit farms, go visit your local farmers market and/or grow something with your kids. That way your kids can reconnect with our food. And know it doesn't come from a box.

Wanna know a secret?
Wood chips between rows is a phenomenal way to keep produce clean. Looks good, & smells good, too.

And when we get rain or I water ....
They keep me from falling on my butt in the mud. 🤣

I'm always binging YouTube videos and last year I watched .co suggesting wood chips between rows. I gave it a go and it worked amazingly well.

Today I am adding more rows where I grew sunflowers last year and Windy Farms of Pasa Robles, CA, was here in New Mexico trimming trees just down the street and ended up delivering a whole truck load of wood chips to the farm.
Awesome timing.

So here I am now, hauling one wheel barrow at a time to my new rows, filing in-between so I have nice pathways.

What away to spend a day!
