The goats are definitely happy the snow is gone......but now they are mad at all the water that won't go away. I was able to get the trailer out.......and now it's stuck in a new spot because it was hay day today. 🙃

We had our first show by ourselves this weekend at the Smokey Mountain Summer Classic! I would like to say thank you to Jessica Sellars with Daisy Creek Dairy for letting me borrow some supplies to help make this a successful trip! I would also like to say thank you to the Smokey Moutain Dairy Goat Association for putting the whole thing together, as well as the judges for their kind words and advice. Ramseeses and the girls did a great job in their classes, we learned a lot and they all had compliments especially our new American Saanan, Novaculite. Pictures were snagged from the live stream events*

Ramseeses: AOP buck under 1 year 1x 1st place and 1x 2nd

Novaviculite: AOP senior 2 year Olds (first freshening) 2 x 1st place and 1x 3rd

Perdita: Lamancha senior yearling milker 3x 1st place
