Peep that little chick peeking out from under her momma’s wing. 🥹 Shadow has always been our broody momma. She’s such a good girl even if all she wants to do is hatch out chicks and it’s forces us to get an extra pen just for her and her babies. 😂

Got started eating before grabbing a pic, but wow, this was so good and COMPLETELY HOMEMADE. Homemade whole wheat bread made with freshly milled flour (which maintains so much more nutrition, than traditional store bought flour) eggs straight from the coop, and homemade raw butter from our sweet Abigail girl’s cream.
