The farmers market was awesome once again. šŸ’•And then it was followed by singing and dancing at the Beatles vs Stones benefit concert. šŸŽ¤ (So much fun!) And then Father’s Day after that. šŸ¤— what a weekend! I hope all of you fathers out there had the best day.

We are already excited and looking forward to the Soldotna Saturday Farmers Market this upcoming Saturday, June 27th. I’ll have kombucha, milk kefir smoothies, sourdough sandwiches, popsicles, smoothie bowls, and a few other treats. (This weeks flavors will be in the comments below ā¬‡ļø later this week)

Until then, you are welcome to swing into the office of Kenai Auto for some kombucha. 37388 Kenai Spur Hwy, Soldotna. Mon-Fri 8-5pm. Just help yourself from the Wild Currant fridge and checkout with cash or Venmo at the self-pay station. Ryan can take card if he’s in the office.

Have a great week everyone!

Product highlight: Raspberry Banana Popsicle

All this sunshine has me thinkin’ about summertime popsicles! šŸŒž

These raspberry-banana popsicles have four simple ingredients: organic white grape juice, raspberries from my raspberry patch, organic bananas and a touch of raw honey. They are tart, sweet, and they will keep you cool in that summer sun!

If you’ve got popsicles on your mind too, come give these new raspberry-banana popsicles a try.

They are naturally gluten free, dairy free, and refined sugar free.

Cost: $6

Soldotna Saturday Farmers Market, June 20th, 10-2pm. Corner of Kenai Spur Hwy and E. Corral.

*The products that I make are made in my home kitchen (that is not inspected) on shared equipment so there is a possibility that they may contain trace amounts of allergens.

Happy summer everyone!

Looking forward to the Soldotna Saturday Farmers Market this weekend. šŸ’• Swing by for some locally made, locally grown goodness. There’s so many great vendors to visit!

Sat, June 20th, 10-2pm, corner of E. Corral and Kenai Spur Hwy.

I’ll have kombucha on tap, milk kefir smoothies, sourdough sandwiches, popsicles, blackcurrant smoothie bowls, and a selection of hot teas. Kombucha and kefir flavors will be in the comments below ā¬‡ļø later this week.

My baked treat this week will be a Wild Berry Oat Muffin that features lingonberries (local wild low-bush cranberries), organic sprouted oats, grass fed butter, and locally raised eggs. The muffins are sweetened with organic bananas and organic dates and have just a few additional wholesome ingredients. (The muffins do not have added gluten but are made in my home kitchen on shared equipment, so trace amounts of allergens are a possibility)

Looks like we are going to get to enjoy some serious sun this week! (Which means it won’t be too long before ripe berries start appearing… šŸ“ 🄹) Hope you all have a great week!

Wow! Another super fun market today. We appreciate all of you who stopped by. And we are already excited for next Saturday’s market.

Not only are we having the best time bringing the kombucha and serving up our other goodies, but I stopped by a few of the other booths and snagged the most amazing finds - homemade herbal balm, locally raised meat and eggs, gorgeous plants, a crocheted bee. šŸ’• Can’t wait to visit a few more booths next week.

If you need some kombucha before Saturday, you are welcome to swing by the office of Kenai Auto, 37388 Kenai Spur Hwy, Soldotna, Mon-Fri, 8-5pm. It’s getting re-stocked with kombucha as I post this. Help yourself at the self-pay station with cash or Venmo. And thanks for returning clean Wild Currant bottles!

And look at those blossoms 🤩. These are pre-kombucha glamour photos.

Have the best week everyone!

Looking forward to this week’s Saturday Soldotna Farmers Market! June 13th, 10-2pm, 193 E. Corral Ave.

Swing by for some Wild Currant kombucha, a sandwhich on sourdough, a blackcurrant smoothie bowl or one of my other goodies.

My new kombucha trailer is surrounded by other wonderful artisans, farmers, and food vendors! So lots of good reasons to drop in.

I’ll list my tap kombucha flavors, weekly kefir flavor and other details for this Saturday’s market in the comments later this week.

In the meantime, you are welcome to swing in and check out the Wild Currant fridge that’s in the office of Kenai Auto. 37388 Kenai Spur Hwy, Soldotna, Mon-Fri, 8-5pm. There’s a self-pay station for cash or Venmo. Ryan can take card if he’s in the office.

I take back clean Wild Currant bottles, jars, and growers in exchange for a small credit on your next purchase. Thanks for returning them. You can also bring your clean bottles to the Saturday Market for a (tap-price) refill.

And to those who purchased a ceramic Wild Currant mug made by Daisy Jeffords, you get $2 off your next refill!

This is gonna hit people different ways šŸ˜… but I hope you all are enjoying this years dandelion season!
