Wild Woods Farm An Iowa City farm that provides fresh organically raised vegetables through a subscription service June through November. Sign up early to secure a spot!

Our farm uses organic growing practices. We are located in a beautiful country setting near Iowa City, Iowa, just two miles north of town. We sell vegetables through a CSA and wholesale distribution. We have six convenient locations for pickup for our subscribers and we also welcome visits to the farm.

Acres of vetch + rye in all its glory! We are doing a Practical Farmers of Iowa research trial this year looking at Nitrogen fixation at three different termination dates. It’s exciting to see science at work. We’ve been collecting biomass samples and soil samples on statistically randomized plots. Can’t wait to share what we learn!

Did you know that our farm relies so much on our community? There’s you our customers, and there’s also our farmer friends too. Today our friends from Garden Oasis Farm LLC are installing piping so we can trellis tomatoes in our tunnel this summer!
