Wild Woods Farm An Iowa City farm that provides fresh organically raised vegetables through a subscription service June through November. Sign up early to secure a spot!

Our farm uses organic growing practices. We are located in a beautiful country setting near Iowa City, Iowa, just two miles north of town. We sell vegetables through a CSA and wholesale distribution. We have six convenient locations for pickup for our subscribers and we also welcome visits to the farm.

I’ve dreamt about this moment for a long time. The bus stopped at the farm today for the first time in years.

When we bought this farm seven years ago, we were told it might have been developed if we hadn’t decided to farm it. It had been years since school children lived in our 100 year old farm house, and decades since the land had been actively farmed.

And now our oldest is starting kindergarten with a cabbage in her backpack that she grew to give to one of the teachers.

I studied rural revitalization and the repopulation of farms in my classes in college. And now we are living it.
