Looking back at our old photo albums definitely brings out the nostalgia.

Thirteen years ago, a few folks came together with a simple goal: create a spot in Solon for good people to gather over great beer and delicious food.

Come celebrate our 13th anniversary with us all day on Sunday, September 6th! We'll have live music on the patio from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, followed by music bingo from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.

Meet the team! 🍻

Molly, our Event Manager, was born and raised right here in Des Moines. She was happily settled in her career when the opportunity to join Big Grove came along. As one of her absolute favorite spots in town, she couldn't pass it up—even if taking the leap was a little terrifying!

After spending seven years in the wedding industry, making a major career shift wasn't easy. But looking back a year later? It was clearly meant to be.

Since joining the Des Moines team, she’s not only helped host incredible moments for our community, but she’s also gained a whole new level of self-confidence along the way. When she’s not bringing events to life at the taproom, you can usually find her exploring local food and drink spots or spending quality time with the people she loves most.

We’re so glad she took that leap—it’s definitely good to have her at BGB! 📸✨
