After getting setup at the market I (Angie) left Marla to rock it out and went back to the farm to work in the hightunnel “before it got hot” 😂😂😂. Well, it was already hot really early, but I was able to plant about 200 new heads of lettuce, 50 Frisée and the last 24 tomato plants. I then grabbed the seeder and got a bed of All Star loose leaf lettuce, arugula (long shot in timing, we know) and Zesty Greens Mix. I got the tsunami hose on as soon as I was finished and BAMMMM… available tunnel beds flipped! We are now taking a break from the heat and will head back out around 5pm to keep at it.
