Hiking through the vineyard, new growth shoots for the sky in every block across all 15 varietals.

The early March heat and forecasted El Nino summer should bring a vintage with plenty of juicy ripeness. After three consecutive late budbreaks and cool growing seasons in 2023, 2024, and 2025; we are giddy at the prospects of 2026.

Instead of waiting for the vines to ripen before winter, we will be out trying to nail the optimal hedonism+freshness combination by late August!

2024 Angeli

This is BIG wine. The 2024 is as rich, ripe and lavish as a wine can get without picking raisins or aging in sweet new oak. The 2024 will go down in the top 3 Angeli bottlings alongside 2008 and 2020.
 
2023 Sangiovese

Everything that I love about our “Blood of Jove”, just amplified. The long, moderate hangtime of 2023 gives us a perfumed, fleshy and smooth Sangiovese. As always, ripe red fruit carries the day and I toast a tall glass of 2023 to all our longtime Sangiovese collectors.
