Rideau Vineyard Boutique wines in a historical adobe! Founded in 1997, Rideau Vineyard has been producing highly-acclaimed, small-lot wines for two decades.

Our thirteen acres of estate vines are comprised of five Rhône varietals—Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Viognier, and Roussanne—which are harvested by hand and bottled as highly-expressive blends and varietal wines. We also source from top vineyards in the region to produce additional Rhône and non-Rhône varietals such as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sangiovese, and Malbec. In addition to the unique setting of our historic adobe tasting room, the beautiful picnic grounds attract weekenders and locals alike to relax on the rolling green lawns in the shade of century-old oak trees.

And just like that, the final fruit of Harvest 2026 has arrived!

Today we welcomed our last grapes of the season, Zotovich Syrah and Home Ranch Mourvèdre, officially bringing this year’s picking to a close.

The grapes may be in, but the work is far from over. Here’s to our incredible vineyard and cellar crews, long days, early mornings, and another unforgettable vintage in the making.

An unforgettable evening in pink!

We were incredibly honored to serve as the w**e sponsor for this year’s Pink Lounge Gala at the beautiful Rosewood Miramar Beach, supporting the extraordinary work of the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Santa Barbara.

A beautiful evening filled with generosity, community, and a shared commitment to making a difference. We are so grateful to have played a small part in helping raise funds for such an important cause.

Our Assistant Winemaker, Joe, is topping barrels; a small but essential part of the w**emaking process. As w**e ages in barrel, a little is naturally lost through evaporation, creating space inside the barrel. Topping replaces that lost w**e, keeping the barrel full and limiting its exposure to oxygen.

Great w**e comes from careful attention to detail 🥂

That’s a wrap on another SOLD OUT Viognier Festival!

And what a day it was. A packed house, Viognier flowing, and all-you-can-eat oysters going all afternoon. This is one of our favorite celebrations of the year, and you showed up ready to celebrate with us!

There’s nothing quite like seeing the estate this full of life; friends gathered around tables, glasses raised, oysters shucked, and so many familiar faces enjoying a beautiful day in w**e country.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this year’s Viognier Festival such a memorable one. We’re already counting down to the next!

It all begins right here, in the vineyard.

Long before the cork is pulled, before the bottle finds its way to a Thanksgiving table, a birthday dinner, a celebration, or an otherwise ordinary Tuesday night, there is this.

Early mornings between the rows. Clippers in hand. Buckets filling one cluster at a time. Fruit picked at just the right moment after an entire season of waiting.

Soon, these grapes will make their way into the cellar. And eventually, into a bottle. And someday, into your glass.

But for now, they’re still here, exactly where the story begins.

The Rideau Estate Experience is our most immersive way to discover the w**es, vineyard, and w**emaking of Rideau.

Begin with a private tour of the vineyard and w**ery, exploring the estate and discovering how our site and approach to w**emaking shape the w**es in your glass. Then, settle in for a privately guided tasting of our estate-grown, single-varietal w**es, each thoughtfully paired with a chef-crafted seasonal bite.

Following the tasting, linger over a selection of artisan charcuterie and freshly prepared flatbread as you enjoy the estate at your own pace.

Happy International Grenache Day! 🍷

Grenache is one of the Rhône varietals at the heart of Rideau, and one we’re especially proud to grow right here on our estate in the Santa Ynez Valley.

This year’s Grenache harvest is already underway, with fruit coming in from our estate vineyard and making its way into the cellar. From vine to bottle, Grenache is a variety we love for its vibrant fruit, beautiful aromatics, spice, and ability to express the warmth and character of our site.

Our Estate Reserve Viognier is being barreled down, moving from stainless steel into oak for the next stage of its journey.
