Saturday June 20th will be the first day of u-pick strawberries. You can pick anytime during our business hours, but you need to be finished picking and checked out BEFORE we close for the day. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 9-5, Saturday 9-4. Please bring your own containers. $4.50/lb.

U Pick Pumpkin patch and fall ornamentals are crankin ya'll!! Come on out to get your corn stalk bundles, pumpkins, gourds, plus the best veggies of the season. We're even loaded down with a freezer full of our farm raised pork and chicken. Bring the family out to the farm and stock up, now is the time!! Monday thru Friday 9-5. Saturday 9-4.

Montana sweet corn...we're loaded!!! See you at our farm store and at the Kalispell Farmers Market, rain or shine. Our corn season runs August 1 thru October 1. We'll keep it coming for ya.

I finally got tired of killing crops while trying to only kill weeds, a new cultivator was the solution. Reached out to Tilmor and got me a new basket weeder with spyder gangs on the front axle. Spyders will help crumble any crust that forms after rain or irrigation, which causes hard chunks of soil to bury the crop, thus killing it. In front of the front axle, we're currently running knives for the bed edges, and when doing a 2 row bed instead of a 3 row bed, there is a sweep to hit the bed center weeds. In addition, when appropriate, we run the finger weeders on the front hitch. Looking forward to seeing what the final configuration will be, but so far so good. Super happy with this machine, thanks Tilmor for building great equipment.

Well, it sure feels good to wrap up carrot planting season for 2025. Before actually planting, we have to prepare the beds, so in the first video you can see me shaping the beds. In the second, I'm laying fertilizer in the front (look, you can see it coming out) while also doing a final bed shaping at the same time. The third video is Charlie planting carrots with the vacuum seeder. Last is some beds of freshly germinated baby carrot plants after our last rain storm. E.T.A. on these carrots is late September, they're gonna be some great carrots ya'll.
