Moved away from a great small town, a school district that we and the kids loved, a great neighborhood and a great location. Yup, Bought a 10 acre "farm". Brought the 3 chickens with us that we were "illegally" keeping in town and started the is farm/homestead/self sustaining lifestyle. We are in the infancy of this but loving it so far.

3 grown Chickens giving us a whopping 2 eggs a day. 15 new Chicks just arrived. Including 2 Roosters. And we got 2 feeder pigs a couple weeks ago to kick start the homestead. We are looking forward to the spring when we will have a huge garden. Will be planting a small hay field. Getting goats and more. Our 4 kids are loving it out here as well. And they are looking forward to all the spring stuff too.
