GARLIC SEED and PEPPERS still available. Call or text Somerset Herbs if you would like to meet me at the greenhouse/barn for purchasing. Garlic should be planted late October into November. Roasting and freezing a few bags of peppers will taste very yummy come winter! We have various sizes of garlic as well as jalapeños and other sweet varieties.

Hello All! This summer we chose not to sell veggies at the Farmers Market but couldn’t help ourselves planting too many tomatoes and a lot of peppers too. Today I am offering FREE TOMATOES to anyone who would like some. As many as you want, I have about 65-75 pounds at least if you would like to make a batch of Salsa or Sauce or Juice. Call or text me today Friday, 9-11, or Saturday 9-12. I also would sell my deliciously sweet Carmen red peppers @ 2/1.00 and Garlic bulbs medium size for 1.00, large ones for 1.50. I have some hot peppers on the plants that can be picked if you need some. Click on name at top for number or Google Somerset Herbs and info will show up on Maps.

Hello Perry County Friends. If you live on the northern end of the county, a quick way to donate to flood victims in the area is to get a gas card or two (Walmart or Kroger too) and drop them off at Champ’s Pizza. They will get them where they’re needed.

Look closely! It’s the missing green-hatted gnome! We thought the kids hid him in a car at the car crushing junkyard but no! He was hiding in a block amid the wandering Jew plants. (Tradescandia!) Happy Fourth of July y’all!

Worthington Farmers Market is happening! Chelsea, our fabulous Market Master, Rick and Jason, two of the longest serving vendors, and the guy who nabbed the very cool asparagus fern! It’s also the art festival here today.
