Today marks 5 days we've had Henry and no complaints. He's really smart and completely understands if you talk to him and guide him. Our children of course go inside without us but are aware of the dangers of large livestock/buddies.
Yesterday we had a State Trooper stop pass because he said somone complained about our horse living in its natural habitat? Lol
He told us "someone" made a complaint about livestock, he simply said "most people don't understand this type of life style, I wish I could live like this". He found no issues with Henry and complimented his coat and build. Henry is on two types of daily feed and the highest grade hay available so he's filling out really well! He got here on just a pasture diet but we've beefed him up a bit. π
Henry also has another half acre here fenced in and multiple other properties in the county. We haven't sent him over that way yet, it's easier to train a horse in a smaller environment first.
Last night he decided to lay down, OUTSIDE his enclosure and sleep in the rain! This coat has him feeling like superman, but he's always been this way. He likes to be outside! So he isn't abused! He looks way too dapper for that. π Anyway, we're all good to go and the Trooper that came out with Troop A was awesome. My history in the military dates back to the cavalry unit that trained PSP Mounted Units, I just found that out yesterday. π Great Experience.
So that makes 3 times having the police called for whatever reason and they come out to wanting to learn and come back to visit when it's done. Lol Also, they subliminally tell us who calls, everytime. π€£ π€£ We know, and we all stand around and laugh before they leave... Stop calling PSP old lady, they have more important things to do. They've said it. ππΎ π€£
Moving forward, this guy will be pulling a carriage/buggy soon! How fun?! π¨πΎβπΎπ©π½βπΎππΎ -Sean
